I like the progression in the serie. First shot, everything is normal; second one is already surprising but I can still persuade myself that it is ok to do that (indian painting, or whatever). Third one... bleeding, dying, losing her mind. And the settings make it stronger.
The the serie is constructed has two effects on me. Firstly, I cannot watch part III without thinking to the "normality" of parts I and II. It creates a strange effect of evidence: "Yeah, you're watching part III and what she's doing is what every woman does with lipstick."
Secondly, when I come back to part I after having seen part III, I feel something disturbing I cannot name easily. Maybe the emptiness of the center - but I am not sure. Or perhaps it is this impression of bleeding, losing the soul, that stays within myself.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
